OUR MISSION STATEMENT

It is the mission and purpose of Somers Community Church - United Church of Christ to study and seek the will of God and to transform our understanding into action:

• by discipling our living;
• by providing through worship and friendship a home for our spiritual selves;
• by reaching out to those outside the church that they may have the opportunity for spiritual growth and development;
• by supporting each other through prayer and care;
• by providing a means for nurturing the young;
• by actively seeking ways to show love; by being an instrument for peace and justice in a diverse and fragmented world.
